'The self is our life's goal for it is the completest expression of that fateful combination. We call individuality’ - Carl Jung
The totality of self is a coincidental oppositorum, it is therefore bright and dark yet neither. Our self encompasses the differentiation and integration of different components and personalities.

Multifaceted and ever-evolving, the concept of self has long captivated me, not merely as a philosophical or psychological notion, but as a lived, shifting experience. Inspired by Carl Jung’s idea of the self as “the completest expression of individuality,” my work embraces the contradictions within us: the light and the shadow, the familiar and the mysterious, the comforting and the uncomfortable. These dualities coexist, forming a whole that is constantly in flux.
Through woven sculptures and embroidered mazes, I translate this layered journey into tactile form. Each piece reflects phases of life that have shaped me—the grounding influence of family, the challenges and lessons of the outside world, and the quiet introspection of memory and imagination. My practice invites viewers to explore their own evolving identities, encouraging connection through the shared pursuit of self-understanding.
