This artwork explores the harmonious interplay of purples, blues, and pinks, showcasing their ability to evoke emotions such as joy, bliss, and heightened emotional states. The goal is to create a visual symphony that elicits euphoria, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in an uplifting and emotionally charged experience. Through this vibrant palette, the piece aims to inspire a sense of wonder and emotional resonance.

For this project, I chose to work with optic fibers and woven structures, experimenting with various warp densities and patterns that emphasized both tightness and looseness. I incorporated wool carding and hand-felting techniques to maintain the integrity of the weave, as the brittle nature of optic fibers requires a delicate touch to prevent damage to both the material and the loom. This approach allowed me to explore the unique properties of optic fibers while preserving the cohesion of the design. Additionally, the optic fibers are connected to LED lights programmed to mimic a twinkling pattern, further enhancing the dynamic visual effect.
